I have long dark brown hair, its thick, Its naturally curley but I sometimes straighten it, can anyone suggest some nice styles I can do, I dont want to cut it because I have trouble keeping it under control if its too short, does anyone know any nice ways I can wear it up?, I have had a look online but could not find anything.

Well I am a guy who has dark brown, short, thin hair. For quite some time now I've had long hair. My hair stays straight until it gets to a certain length and begins to curl outwards. I decided about two months ago to cut it short. I got that done and the haircut looked ok but now its time to get another one. So, whats your opinion on a good cut, and a good style for my type of air? Long or short? Curly or straight? Shaggy or clean?

The biggist problem I have with my hair is the fact that it, alongside my dark brown eyes, really contrast with my extreemly pale skin. Does anyone know how I can reduce the contrast?

Shortish is best if you have thin hair and I would base the style on what you do for a living if your in a job where your expected to where a suite fairly often then you will want to go for clean cut. If your your own boss or you have a job that calls for casual dress either would be OK. As for the contrast the only things I can think of are sun and/or highlights.

Long faces definitely don't need long straight non-layered hair hanging around them to emphasize the long-ness of it all! Most girls with really long hair are afraid to chop it so if you've got the guts, I say find a look you like in a magazine and go for it. Think of Alanis Morrisette before and after her chop!

Highlights are an option to consider rather than dying your whole head. Subtle highlights can be done with lemon juice (and then go sit in the sun for a little bit) or a product like Sun-In. I would say try getting really light highlights! Highlights are VERY in and extremely noticeable too. And they're much safer and easier on your hair. Well, first of all.. go tell those sons of bitches they screwed your hair up! If they offer to cut it again, say NO! Get your money back if possible.

And about your hair, sadly- there isn't much you can do. You could try wearing it up in a bun or pony-tail and pin up loose bits with bobbie pins. Or, you could try flat-ironing it or using a blow-dryer. Ultimately, you'll just have to wait until your hair grows out to a longer and more comfortable length.

PS. Don't go back to that salon again!

you could do hair extensions if you wanted back to your long hair. otherwise it depends how it is. i would go back to the salon and tell them to fix it. i did that once and i was nice about it but told them i didnt want it like this and to fix it and they did and they werent to mean about it either...i loved it then. but remember when you get your hair cut and want it a certain way try to show the stylist pics and really explain in detail what you want.

I think the style will suit mostly any face shape. I think it would look best on someone with a 'heart' shaped face, or a roundish face. Although if you have an oval shaped face, you're lucky, as most styles will suit you! It's a very nice hair cut :)

For the most part, you'll have to be patient until it grows more. But in the meantime, try barettes and clips. They come in all kinds of fun designs, and you can make your own. The metal clip part of the barette can be found at most craft stores, and you can glue on whatever you want!

I recommend getting hair extensions. They are not so cheap, but you can buy your own hair and have them put in at the salon. I recommend getting three colors-about 50 pieces the same color as your real hair, then 50 pieces a lighter shade, and another 50 that are highlights.

You can have these put in and your hair will be long and beautiful. If you keep them in for about a year, your real hair should be grown out by then enough to style it properly.

Growing hair out takes some patience. I suggest you keep getting it trimmed (cut off the split ends) on a regular basis...every 6-8 weeks. Wash and condition your hair every other day so it doesn't dry out. Use a palmade (kind of like a light wax) on the tips of your hair. I'm not sure about hair dye because I've never dyed my hair. Ask a hairdresser what they recommend next time you get it trimmed.

Are you serious? Why would you even cut your hair so short as curly as it is? I naturally have very curly hair but I straighten it with a flat iron. If it is long enough to grasp it you should try flat ironing it or it's to short you should put relaxer in it. Otherwise you can put pretty hair clips. Good Luck!

if you wash you hair, blow dry it and grease it wit t-tree herbal grow and twist you hair and if you keep on doing that for like 4-6 months you will see improvements. it helped my friend of mine. don't wash you hair too often either. wash it like every two weeks or every month but grease your hair daily or every other day

If you have taken great care of your hair, invest in a great iron (GHD or CHI), limit your chemical services (hair color, relaxers) and apply a heat protecting spray (S-Factor Flat Iron SPray) prior to flat ironing you wont damage you hair.

Im 5'10, slightly muscular, 170 pounds lean(10 percent body fat). Brown hair(styled kinda like arnolds in that predator movie), hazel eyes, short hair, Im 18. Definately physically fit. Well, that ultimately comes down to each individual girl. The best advice I can provide, is to do whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. Definitely the sexiest thing in man is one who is confidant in the way he presents himself, and feels comfortable with his style. Naturally, things can change and be adjusted. Maybe you find a girl who prefers gelled hair, so when you go on dates you gel it especially for her. But being comfortable with your own style is the best attribute in a man.

I have never liked getting stabbed with my boyfriends hair. On the other hand it is nice for there to be a little extra effort when we go out. I would recommend that you try mouse. It can keep your hair from getting hard while holding your style! I have curly hair and it works great for me. I know what your thinking! I'm a girl so I wouldn't care as long as it stays. Right? Wrong! I don't want crunchy hair! Personally I use Garnier Fructis! Its a great product and it smells great!
