Ok so I am 15 years old. I am needing to find out what type of shampoo I should use or would work best for me. I have relativly short hair and typically style it in a fohawk so that gives you more idea as to the length. It is normally pretty good but once in a while it can get somewhat oily. I need to know what shampoo is best for me. Any help would be great!
What shampoo should I use?
I love all sunsilk shampoos..they have tons for all types of hair..just read the bottle and get what you want. They work!
What shampoo should I use?
Suave for oily hair. Very inexpensive and it does a good job.
What shampoo should I use?
Sunsilk. They have different types of shampoos for all different kinds of hair!
If you like smelly shampoos, I suggest Suave Coconut.
What shampoo should I use?

What shampoo should I use?
I would suggest a shampoo for normal hair and maybe have a small bottle of shampoo for oily hair on hand for those "oily" days. Pantene, Dove, Tresemme (or is it Tresseme) all have good shampoos with various degrees of cleansing. Also, make sure that you rinse your hair well, leaving any soap residue in your hair can make your hair oily and greasy looking.
What shampoo should I use?
The only shampoo you shouldn't use is Pantene brands. It has a type of wax in it (for smoothing) that can really build up. If you generally use a lot product in your hair (gels and such), you should use a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week (to get all the residue from the product and previous shampoos out of your hair). It will also keep it from getting oily (you said it does that sometimes). Oily hair is often caused by product build up and shampoo residue left on hair causing the scalp to create more oils. Don't use the clarifying shampoo any more often than once or twice a week though because it can dry your hair out if used too much. Since your hair is sometimes oily, it's a good idea to NOT use smoothing shampoos or moisturizing shampoos since these will only make it more oily. What you could do is use a shampoo for "all hair types," (Suave is an inexpensive but excellent brand -- their coconut shampoo is especially good) but also purchase a light conditioner. Only use the conditioner on days when you feel that your hair is particularly dry.
