you should go to the hair salon and make them give you a press and curl and that will help your problem

Have you tried the flat hair straighteners instead of curling irons? You may have a few flyaways but they calm down %26amp; appears smoother %26amp; neater. I like Conairs wet/dry model CS26J. It has a venting system that helps keep hair moisturized. (Got it reasonably priced at Target.) Good luck!

For a cut.... try a graduated layer... it will help remove the bulk from your hair, but leave you the length, and it will look cute with straight, or wavy hair....

for the frizziness.....

Take any of the following oils.....

Olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil, and apply to the hair, WHILE ITS DRY! Work it through from scalp to ends, cover with some type of plastic cap.. then take a towel HOT from the dryer, and wrap it around your head turban style..... Leave it on for about one hour, or even more for extra dry, damaged hair.

Wash your hair with a tiny bit of moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Run your hair under cold water. Squeeze out the excess water and apply straightning/frizz serum to your hair. Apply to the ends of your hair, not to the roots, so that they don't get oily. You might want to add some mousse for extra hold.

Detangle any knots using a wide-toothed comb If your hair is really knotty, try using a detangling spray. Do not brush!

Pin up the top section of your hair and use the round brush to blow dry your hair. Hold the hair sections out taut and point the hairdryer down to dry it. Do this section by section, so that your hair is completely dry. You may want to then dry up the hair, from the neck to the end of the strands. This makes it easier to get the hair on the back of the head.

If you have decided to use a hair straightener, put your hair into sections again, and run over your hair with the straightener. Grip one section of hair. Clamp the flat iron onto the top portion of the section. Slowly, move the iron down your hair. Repeat up to three times.

Brush hair, and finish off with a small amount of serum.

Tips

Before you get out of the shower, rinse your hair with cold water. This will make your hair extra shiny!

When blowdrying your hair, make sure the hairdryer is pointing down, so that all the hair folicles point down, which equals super shiny hair, which is the look we're going for! Also, before blow-drying, consider applying a heat protection spray.

Don't use too much hair serum or hair products, because you don't want your hair to look lank and greasy.

Some good products to try: Chi Silk Infusion or Redken Smooth Down, Nexxus Heat Protexx, MY FAV%26gt;%26gt; Tigi Bed Head... Control Freak.... its expensive($15-20for a mediun sized bottle), but AWESOME!!!

If your hair is fragile, use a low setting on the iron. If it's thick and unruly, make the heat almost the hottest it can be.

Warnings

Don't brush your hair when it's wet, because it stretches and breaks the hair. Always use a wide-toothed comb.

If you're in a rush and need to dry your hair, don't take the easy way out and use your hair straightner when it's wet. See that steam coming out? It dries out your hair. Always use a hairdryer prior to straightening.

ALWAYS use heat protection spray or else your hair will get damaged from straightener.

I use this product it's called : Kerastase Nutritive, Oleo-Relax

It's a relaxing oil for frizzy and rebellious hair. It's made by L'Oreal in Paris and I think you would have better luck finding it in an up-scale salon. if you are looking for something more affordable, try Paul Mitchell super skinny serum it's a clear serum with a green pump (you really can't miss it) It's great for when you blow dry your hair to keep it smooth and silky. Also, that new sun-silk stuff works great the pink and blue bottles would be something you should consider (for frizzes and smoothness). Also when you are in the shower, try not to scrub and torture your hair (especially the ends) with a crazy cleaning shampoo, be gentle and use lukewarm/cool water when you rinse so it closes the cuticle. Try to avoid humidity and when you get out of the shower keep your hair in a towel tied up for 15 minutes and then see how that turns out (usually letting your hair dry naturally will result in frizz but if you start blow drying when it's not soaking wet, i think you will get better results.)
