Styling hair in bun?

I used to be in the military. Females do what is called a sock bun. Here is what you need...

old trouser sock

3 hair bands

bobby pins, is necesary

Take an old trouser sock and cut off the toe. Then roll it down so it forms a donut. Put your hair in a regular ponytail and then put the sock over it (like your sliding on a scrunchy) Then take the pony tail hair and spread it out over the sock so it covers it completely. wrap hair band number 2 around the hair and the sock. Now you only see hair in the shape of a bun, the sock is competely covered. Now the hair thats sticking out wrap around the base of the bun and secure with the 3rd hair band. If there are any fly aways then place bobbypins to keep those in place. Hope this helps!!

do a french braid on the top and then put the rest in a regular bun

ok, first thing, put ur hair in the desired hight and dont do a full bun, just a messy one. then run out to the drug store and get a hairnet and bobby pins. use the pins to push any fly-aways into the bun then wrap the net around the bun 2-3 times. then use more bobby pins to secure it.

also, if you want, go out and buy one of those fake hair elastic buns and do the bun around ur origonal hair, if its too obvious its not your hair, then cut the fake hair a bit to make it seem natural!

good luck!
