Hair Question???

My hair is sorta curly and sorta puffy. I have it short, but I want to style it in a "scene" way. What can I do to make it look cool.

OK, well, I don't do much with my hair, and I have absolutely NO experience with guys' hair, but maybe you should get your hair cut so you will have side bangs like all the scene kids, and straighten your hair with a straightening iron and put in gel or mousse or hairspray or something to make it stay straight. But keep in mind that I am not experienced with this kind of thing.
