I am a mid-teenage guy with thick, dark brown hair. I want a new style. I'm thinking about getting it cut short and spiking it. Do you girls think this style is hot? Also, how would I do this? I want a kind of messy, spiked look that I can do with hair gel.

well dude i personally love long straight/slightly wavy hair...but it depend on the guy and well i also love curly long hair but not too long so im sorry idk...and it also depends on ur style so yea.
and the spiky thing might b cool..u can always try it the change it if u d like it.
