THATS SOUNDS TIGHT!!!! you should definitely think about it, i think it will be REALLY successful. I'm 16 and if i knew a hair salon like that I'll be there AT LEAST twice a month....kool

Umm, I guess it depends on where it's located, and also the point of a salon is not to cater to a certain group of people for a short time (i.e. teenagers that will get older) the idea is to get a client鐚玪e going. Whatever you decide to do... Good Luck!

Yes it will do very well as long as you have a good barber in there for the teen boys hair cuts. I think that you will find that adults will come in to get there hair done too, some people just like urban atmospheres.

It depends on where it is and the demand of it, mostly. You should set it up near a school or something so that the kids would take notice of it.

That demographic is usually well funded. Decor is important as well as the ambiance. You need to know what will attract them based on the area you are located. Remember to appeal to the teen girls mostly. They can get more services than the guys in general. You will need to stay real current on styles. My only concern may be that they may not be great tippers if they pay for the cuts themselves. Limited means can affact the tips for your staff. Try to advertise around the schools and get the word out with some coupon offers. Also look into becomming a Locks of Love salon for those that wish to donate thier hair. Great PR too. Good Luck. Idea is sound now you need to find great employees who will stay.

That sounds great. Are you going to just have them fill out or buy the tickets for the raffle, or are you going to give away entries as part of the haircut cost? You might also consider putting in satellite radio and having a nice speaker system put in, so the teens can listen to the latest tunes. You can also give away discounts with there recites for their next cut. good luck.

having video games at each chair may cause the teens to move about alot making haircutting or coloring difficult...it should only be at the waiting lobby for waiting clientelle...it is nice to focus on the young generation but how many of the teens actually have a lot of money to spend on their hair....but the idea sounds great...but acknowledge that there are alot of hip adults that would like to go there for themselves and their kids...good luck with your idea...i would say go for it....
