I already have naturally coloured hair that is quite nice. ^^. and my hair is already long and thick. but its just a little wavy, not curly. i want the haircut/style in the pic, but longer. (i dislike having short hair.) so heres my question. If i go to the slaon and want this perm, what do i say? i hate showing them pictures cuz i dont think they like when people do that. so what do you call this perm? haircut? style? any info is appreciated. ty!

hmm bit of both. haircut for the fringe bit but this girl looks like she is a natural curly headed. or its just a mad curling wand. i think to achieve this look, you could try
1. washing your hair and scrunching it up softly with some mousse and letting it dry by itself or
2. washing your hair, hairdrying it and then using a curling wand to achieve great, fab looking curls. with option 2 you could then just you some light hairspray to keep your curls in place. dont go overboard or they will look tough and hard!

actually most hairdressers prefer you to show them pictures than you explain cos then they know exactly what they are trying to achieve. Anyway you want a soft perm with the grey and black rollers. below shoulder hair and lots of long layers.
