It's nothing to do to my hair?

My hair is natural and I cut off my realxed ends 5 months ago an dit still hasn't grown out since. It's in a teenie-weeine afro and its really short. I have no style to it and I'm too busy to do any to it. I feel so depress because all the kids at school are teasing me abotu my hair because it's short and "nappy" What shoudl I do to it?

It's nothing to do to my hair?

I'm sure you are beautiful with your hair just the way it is. You know what, kids will always find something to tease someone about, as you get older you will realize that.

For the time being maybe you can put some cute clips and berrets in your hair.

It's nothing to do to my hair?

let it grow and then straighten it.

It's nothing to do to my hair?

Way to go honey! I am all natural myself and I have locks. Your hair is much longer that you think it is. The style i would suggest though is that you twist it. Have some one help you with that. You can use a twist gel as opposed to the protein gel because it wont flake and itch. Then if you like the way it looks, go ahead and let it lock and it'll grow for you in no time. My locks will be seven years old June 6th and they are halfway down my back and beautiful as they wanna be. And tell the kids at school to go fly a kite. I think nothing is more beautiful than a woman who wears her hair natural.

It's nothing to do to my hair?

Forget about those kids, they'll always have something to say about you, just love yourself and live life to the fullest , the sky is the limit. But if you want , you could go to a stylist and have them put in a texturizer to make it wavy like Jada Pinkett use to wear her hair.

You can always get extensions(but they may cost alot) , you could just let your hair grow out and get a new hair cut, i would say try striantening it.

It's nothing to do to my hair?

Like the other poster said, your hair is probably much longer than you think. I went natural a while back and I thought that my hair was just not growing. Then I decided to brid it into two large corn rows and the braids came to the nape of my neck. It surprised me.

Make sure that you visit the barber every 6-8 weeks and get your hair trimmed. It WON'T grow unless the dead ends are cut off. Trimming it will help. Just be patient and good luck! :-)

BTW - ignore those kids at school. They WISH they had the b@lls like you to be different and naturally beautiful...they're just jealous. {Good for you!}

It's nothing to do to my hair?

I tell you what sister... I have no problem with my hair being 'nappy' as you put it... and in it's God given state. You too have fallen into the whit American myth that our hair is nappy and or inferior. Wake up sister. My hair is locked up... and I do mean Dreadlocks, and I have no problem letting anyone know Black... White.. Indian or any other race... that I AND my hair are beautiful. Yeah. No more perms.. waves.. bumper curls.. relaxers.. ribbons.. bows.. pins.. weaves.. extensions or anything else that covers up my beauty in order to make other people comfortable. I love my locks... My hair is natural and in better condition than any sister I know.

I chose to buck the system. The white man's concept of black beauty is way off. We do not share the same culture or rich heritage. When I began locking... my hair was cut because of the chemicals and it was about 3ins. I dealt with it until it grew how God intended and now my hair is about 1ft and 1/2 long.

Your afro is not shameful. The afro is part of the symbol of our freedom. Remember Angela Davis? Due to the fact that I don't know you I really can't comment on the teasing. Personally... I don't let people make fun of me. I am just the way God intended. Home grown... Naturally Nappy... and Magnificent.

It's nothing to do to my hair?

put some texturizing gel in it so it goes in to nice curls, like get liquid gel

I have curly hair- really curly and full of knots and I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on how to style my hair.

I did try layering it (long layers one time and short another time) with still keeping it long of course but you can only see it if it's straight and sometimes that doesn't work out for me....

How can I obtain this hairstyle?

Oh man, I just got my hair cut kinda like that only a little longer. Wear a cute headband. Or blowdry it upside down with a let gel to give it lift 9my hair falls flat too) and part your hair to the side JUST in the front (not a straight part- make it kinda messy) and use a little hair wax to define the ends. let the hair fall it front of your face. (take a look at my avatar-- my hair is a bit shorter then that- and that about how I style it.)

How can I obtain this hairstyle?

Both the photos look like the same.... You dont need a change..

How can I obtain this hairstyle?

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

How do you feel about fake fingernails? Ladies do you mainly keep your nails manicured and hair style for yourself or men?

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

natural long hair

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

Every man I've been with has liked long hair. If my husband likes my haircut, I tend to keep it that way. He said he likes blonde streaks, and I'm thinking about getting them. So, I would say mostly I keep my hairstyle for myself, for example I wouldn't ever cut it really short, or dye it red or black, but his opinion does influence me. I keep my nails filed, but I don't have them done. When we got married I got those acrylic nails, he loved for me to scratch his back with them, but they were a pain to me.

This is hair on the head, right? (I embarrassed myself once by referring to the hair on the head when the asker was really asking about other hair...)

If it's hair on the head, then I like long hair. All the girls I know look better in ponytail. I dunno why I like ponytails, but oh well. And some look good with straight hair, but a single ponytail is like the best a girl can look =/. (of course there's a ton of exceptions especially with "hair that girls have done for dances") I really don't like buns for some reason, though. =/

I think fingernails...as long as they're trimmed and clean, they don't need to be that fancy...maybe clear polish...anything more won't factor for anything.

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

It depends on the size, shape, features and deportment of the woman. Different strokes for different folks.

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

Men like everything natural. At least most of them do. Don't try to be something you're not. Men should like you for who you are. I don't do any special hairstyle for men or manicure my nails. Did I help?

What hairstyle do men like on women? Do you like long, short, natural, wigs or weaves?

I have natural long hair that goes to the middle of my back. It's thick, curly, and wavy. It's all over the place if it's not flat ironed. I usually wear my hair down or in a ponytail. As for my nails I like getting tips put on every now and then.

When it comes to my hair and nails I do it for me. I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Okay, if you've been following my hair saga, please help me out.?

I had damage done by chemical 8 months ago and it has been cut cut and cut since then from shoulder length to now about chin length, but shorter on the sides so had to get about 10 extensions in each side to match it up. The top is short. The idiot cut it in short layers all over back in January and my hair grow SOOO slowly anyway because it is fine and thin and has a natural curl to it, but still some straightener in it on the ends. I got a trim today, and the stylist I used to use when I had long beautiful hair (who I now will ONLY use her!!! - learned my lesson) said to leave the extensions in the sides or I would be devastated by the sides. She said since mine is SOOO fine and soft (like a baby's), that I would have to use heat to style it (hair dryer, curling iron, or flat iron) but to not do that every day. She said to try to skip washings if I could and just use some heat on it instead. It looked AMAZING when she styled it with the flat iron!!! I just don't have a lot of

Okay, if you've been following my hair saga, please help me out.?

yikes. if that had happened to me, i would be PISSED.

uhm, i say wash it fresh every morning. since your hair is probably pretty damaged, that may not be the best thing. it may be better to let your natural oils spread through your hair, which will help heal it. so, if you are not going anywhere, try to hold off on washing it for a couple days. also, try a deep conditioner if you are going to need to kill it with heat every day (though i suggest not to...)

i feel so bad for you!! i hope it all works out!!!
